The Sunroom Retreat

This project began with an underutilized patio that, despite its potential, remained largely unused due to the Texas weather. The space was open, unfinished, and lacked the comfort needed to become part of daily life.

Our goal was to reimagine it as a true extension of the home. By enclosing the structure, adding flooring, and layering in furnishings, the patio was transformed into a sunroom—protected, comfortable, and inviting year-round. We also refreshed the surrounding outdoor and pool areas to create a more cohesive and elevated outdoor experience.

The result is a space that is now used every day—whether as a quiet reading nook, a place for board games, or simply a retreat from the Texas sun. What was once overlooked is now one of the most lived-in spaces in the home.
